Class summary for November 21th.

Hi guys

Today we started class by working with the -photocopied +worksheet which was given +to us the +day before -day. First we corrected the grammar exercise about -[passives verb] +[passive verbs] and we continued doing the practice where we learned some new words:

*Jigsaw puzzle (noun: a game consisting of a lot of differently shaped pieces). Ex: 100-piece jigsaw puzzles are easy, but a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle takes days to put together.

*Crossword puzzle (a game in which you write words that are the answers to questions in a pattern of black and white squares). -Ex +Eg: Many people enjoy the New York Times crossword puzzle.

After +THAT [notes], we opened our students' book on page 17 and we did -the exercise 3a, 1grammar, 1a practice and 3a. We -[were forming] +FORMED adjectives with different prefixes and suffixes:

Prefixes that mean "the opposite of":
 un- (unsociable)
 in- (insecure)
 im- (impatient)

Prefixes that modify the meaning of the adjective:
