Hi guys!
I´m Eva and this is the sumary of last wednsday 27th :
We did in the pages 18-19 [o pones otra coma delante de "in", o lo mandas todo al final de la frase], the  execises  3 and 4. Both exercises were about -[to work] +working [1] in pairs. In these exercise there were a Student A and Student B +roles, the first had to read the text of page 18-19 and the student B had to read the text of page 127. Next, both students had to do -determinate +certain questions +to each other about both texts.
-VOCABULARY :
-sitting at the bus stop: sentarse en la parada de autobus (NO: sitting in the bus stop)
-strangers stranger people
-Free hugs: "abrazos libres" [¿gratis? (visión mercantilista americana)... aunque lo de "libres" o "sueltos" me gusta :).. "abrazos sueltos" sin nada más implicado... vagando por ahí ...]]
-Your income: tus ingresos
-Net income: ingresos netos (after tax)
-Gross income: ingresos brutos (before tax)
-the outcome: los resultados (the result). (for example: I don´t know the outcome of the exams).
-to make ends meet: llegar a fin de mes.
-cat  person: arisco, independiente
-cat person is the opposite to a dog person.

-Review +[of expressions on] -expression page 18 and page 127:
(Page 18):
-You are in for a surprise: tienes todas las papeletas para que te den una sorpresa.
-overcrowded: atestado de gente, superpoblado.
-collect data -an +on : recoger datos sobre algo.
-reduce it by…% :reducir en …%
-increase it by…% : incrementar en …%
-contentment: satisfecho/conforme.
-Give it a go: pruébalo/inténtalo.
-by giving -move +more than we take: dando más que tomando.
(Page 127): 
- Open up: abrirse (a alguien). (for example: talking to strangers opens up new possibilities).
-A wandering mind:una mente que vaga .
- To be fair: para hacer justicia a lo que he dicho/para ser justo.
- They encountered hostility: ellos se encontraron inesperadamente con la hostilidad.
-But +it does go to show that: pero  te lleva a mostrar que…

Also we did in class:
-[ In the ] + On page 19 the exercise 5 set 2.
-[ In the ] + On page 20: we did  the exercise 2a:

Vocabulary of page 20:
 -Lacking: faltarle a uno algo. (for example: lacking good friendships)
-Criticism can be good: criticism incluye tanto críticas positivas como negativas  (criticism≠gossip)
