Hi class

We started the lesson by -telling +talking about which things in our life make us feel good and bad

We discussed about several topics such us financial security, good friendships, exam stress, being unemployed.....

Later, we made the listening of  the pag 20. It told us +about the life of Rick,Frankie, Nancy and what things made them feel good or bad

The next exercise was +about working in pairs and -discuss +discussing which things most affect to -the teachers, parents, -younger +[young people] and entrepreneurs. It goes without saying that our answers were very different.
We learnt how your boss or your company can -say +[tell you to] leave the job and go home....
- I was fired last Monday
- I was made redundant
- They give me the sack
- I was dismissed

Also, we researched the origin of the word "married". Could it be -[relevant with] +[related to] the verb " to mar"?. I dont know but i feel the truth is out these. [??? "not there" / "right there" / "somewhere near there" ???]

Lastly, we checked the more common suffixes
-ness : Loneliness                     -ment : government
-tion : relation                            - ee : employee [OJO con este sujifo, que es el único acentuado]
-ist: conformist                          - ship : relationship

That´s all , see you !!
