Hi guys!

it´s my go and I´m trying to remember the latest class for January 3rd.
We started the class +BY doing -the exercise 1 on page 37. Later we continued with a quiz on page 36, it was a quiz called "What kind of mind have you got?", -the +then we talked with our partner and -compare +compareD our results.
In this case we checked some interesting vocabulary to remember:

- Tell somebody off: "To speak angrily to someone because they have done something wrong. That´s meaning `regañar`
- Weak: flojo
- Cabbage: repollo (it made surprise in many of us)

-[At last] +[Finally / Lastly ] [1] we linked the questions with their mental skills, +and returned to page 37. We continued with the exercise -[meanwhile] [2] we were listening an audio and we were writing more vocabulary about that work:

- Odd numbers: números impares; 1,2,3,5,7,9...
- Even numbers: números pares; 2,4,6,8,10...
- Prime numbers: números primos; 1,2,3,5,7,11,13...
- Pi number: 3,1411596...
- To group together: agrupar algo junto.
- In your mind`s eye/in your head: in your imagination or memory. Meaning "en la memoria"

- To wrap up my gifts/to wrap up a baby: envolver regalos/ envolver a un bebé.
- To sharpen/ sharpener: sacar +punta / sacapuntas.
- North bank: orilla norte.
- South bank: orilla sur.
- Self- fulfilling +prophecy: profecía autocumplida.

Later we checked the -pasive +passive voice, I´ll try to explain that with an example:

- Active voice: They grow bananas in the Canary Islands.
- Pasive voice: Bananas are grown in the Canary Islands (By them). Here "bananas" is the subjetc, followed by verb to be + past participle.

And the types of pasive voice:

- Pasive+ infinitive: The shape has to be rotate.
- Pasive+ modals: Children certainly should not be bribe.

Finally +, we -work +[workED on] our monologues about "friendship" and "collections and collectors".

P.S.: We must do page 129 and practice 1 and 2 on page 140.

See you on Wednesday!
