Hello classmates -: +,

We started the class by doing exercise 1a on page 58 about perfect tenses and 1b about grammar.

We learned the meaning of "learned" like an adjective (is a person who knows a lot) and "read" (a person who reads a lot).

We continued -with the class by doing all exercises on page 59 (except the last one).

After that, we learned some new expressions with "idea" like:

"the idea was put forward" = la idea fue propuesta

"dismissed his ideas" = rechazaban sus ideas

And some words like:

-countles +countless = innumerables / incontables

bizarre = chocante / extraño

breakthrough = algo innovador / que abre camino

by then = para entonces

We use by with time expressions.

For homework: practice 1 on page 146.
